One of the lists I am on offers a 'postpone' option, you send email to the
listserv with "set mail postpone" in the subject (or is it the message body)
and the listserv freezes your mail, you miss any messages distributed during
the period, but when you get back you don't have to resubscribe, only send a
message "set mail noack" or "set mail ack" depending on if you want to be
copied with any message you send. I'm not sure what listserv software that
is, but its one of the big ones... That would be a nice option to offer if
our listserv had the feature. I get more mail from this list than any other
I'm on...
