I just joined (looking for somewhere to post pics without having my own
website) but didn't have to reveal make of equipment. Admittedly I haven't

It is interesting, and disturbing, to see that in order to sign up with
www.photo.net, one has to disclose the brand of camera one uses along
with serial numbers and dates of purchase. Absent this information one
does not registered.
Is anyone on the Olympus list a member of photo.net and can comment on
the need to know about serial numbers and equipment used?
