I am a member on photo net.
The only reason I can see that the make, model, and
serial number of your equipment is required, is to
help the photographer to keep track of what equip was
used to shoot what picture.
At least I think that is the intent.
When you upload a picture, you must also select what
equip from your list was used to take the picture. You
are also required to enter in a type of film.
A picture that has been opened up for public viewing,
will show what equipment you took it with when you
uploaded it. (But not the serial number.)
I think that photo.net is not too picky about what
info you give it. Provided you give it something. You
could lie in an obvius way. For instance claim that
you only use disposable cameras.
