That's exactly what I use it for. When I want a camera with me, but am not
out 'shooting' where I'd take several lenses. It's great indoors with a
flash too.  Put it on an OM-2S in Program Mode and you have a sophisticated
Point and Shoot that anyone in the family can use.

It's a great addition to your kit. You'll use it more than you think.
