If I remember that roughly translates to $75 USD. Skip Williams page gives
28/2.8,126,$20,$203,$84,$28
35/2.8,85,$27,$401,$75,$65

I believe that more 28mm fixed lenses are sold in the US than 35mm. Most people
probably "expect" to buy one wide angle and one telephoto. So they start
with the wider 28mm. The Zuiko zooms start at 35mm so the 28mm won't
necessarily stay home when you take a zoom (exception 28-40 zoom).

Which lens is the best choice has more to do with what other lenses you plan
on having than the differences between the two. If you plan to get a 28 f2 in
the near future, the 35mm would be a better choice. Otherwise the 28 would
probably give you more variation than the 35mm. You might even decide
you NEED a 35mm shift.

When I first started I used 24mm, 50mm, 100mm. I was quite happy with
that choice ... but it didn't stop me from needing more <g>.
