I believe that this one was manipulated - the flames were added from a
seperate shot. It's a worry.
Personal choices? - Gene Smith's shot of a mother and damaged child in the
bath from 'Minimata' as an image somewhere between art and journalism (most
of the suggestions were photojournalism!), Weston's 'Pepper 30' for pure
art. But, were they influential? Not widely, perhaps.
