Came back after a fortnights break to be greeted by over 2,000
messages.....seems like I slept through WW 3!!!! The one thing that really
concerned me was the offer of online porn. Try explaining that to my wife
and teenage daughters!! hopefully "closing" the list will make this kind of
message less likely.
Anyway main purpose of this e-mail...recently ordered, with fingers
firmly crossed, a 50mm 3.5 macro lens from K.E.H. The condition was
described as excellent, cost $175 with lens caps and postage to Colorado.
Last week a relative holidaying in the UK. brought me the lens. I was
suprised. The lens came bubble wrapped with the caps separate. Rear generic
cap - new. Front Olympus cap - good but obviously used. The lens appears
never to have been mounted to a camera !! Until I mounted it on my OM4T the
mount was un marked. Optically the lens is spotless and the apeture ring and
focussing ring show no signs of use. The lens is unmarked. If I really want
to be critical one of the diaphram blades shows slight streaking but the
diaphram works perfectly. In the UK. I could expect to pay at least $100
more for this lens. I just hope this lens performs as well as people on the
list says it does! I am one very happy bunny.
