The solution? Buy a P&S for those shots.
That's what I did. I've logged enough time with my OM-1 to take a
healthy stab at the initial settings. But I'm not as fast as a P&S in
checking aperture, shutter speed, and focus. And sometimes you just
have enough time to pull out the camera and no more. It stays in the
bag with the OM-1.
