I was sure that I'd seen a comment that matte better, especially with the
lens wide-open, but wanted to confirm it.
Apparently others on the List think that any screen will do; I'll need to
get a collection and try them I guess :->

Accurate focusing for large aperture lens has to be done with matte focusing
area, a plain 1-4 or 2-4 is better.
