I think this illustrates my point. The seller was called everything from
stupid to a supplier of stolen goods on this list - quite unfairly I
thought. He made no bones that he knew nothing of camera equipment
(supported by his feedback details) and didn't want the aggravation caused
by opinionated camera buyers (man, can I relate to that one). The price he
received was "all the money" based on John's experience and Mike at Motor
Visions purchase late last year. Was the lens REALLY worth what was paid
for it - only the buyer (unless he/she is a listmember who 'fesses up) will
ever know. In the meantime this seller has had all kinds of spurious
comments made about them.

PS  IIRC John offered his lens to this list before he put it on eB*y - with
no takers!
