Well, you _could_ just wipe off the magnet every few months....
Actually, an overhaul is not out of the question -- I assume every
OM-10 I see has a sticky magnet until proven otherwise, so you
can bet any of them you pick up off the web sticks, too. It might
be more economical to get one fixed as to buy another one, in
other words.
