I'm sure you will get quite a few responses to your question. As I
understand it, either an Olympus screen 2 or the Beattie will give you a
brighter and therefore easier screen with which to focus, however both will
require you to have a shop re-calibrate the meter to give you an accurate
meter reading. You will probably want something other than a split image
when using your 500 mm f 8 lens as it will go dark on you. The beauty of
this list is that if this isn't correct, you will get the correct answer and
