Henrik,
No, you do not need the F280. It only offers you the Super FP mode (flash
speeds above 1/60). All Through The Lens (TTL) features of the T-20 and T-32
are yours to use with the 4T as with any 4, 3 or 2 model (with proper shoe).
The T32 offers a tilting flash head for bounce, or macro use. It also has
both the flash shoe and TTL cord capability. With the 4 models (and 2S?) you
can use both the shoe and the off camera TTL cords to fire one or more
flashes. I can't speak for the T18. The T 20 only works on a shoe mount. To
get it off the camera you need a bounce grip 2 or the off camera
attachment/cord for the T20.
