Clyde S. asks about Hama lens caps:

Sometimes the Hama cap leaves a bit of a gap, since it has such deep
threading and the filter threads on the Zuikos aren't always equally
deep. That resulting gap can cause the cap to pop off when rubbed
against something, like a belt or shirt button.

None are perfect (as the recent Keppler article determined), but the two
pronged, crinkle finished front caps that used to be sold to Dot Line
dealers are my cheap favorites. They hold tight with out play in the
prongs, esp. since you can turns them in the threads once or two to get
a real tight fit. Dot Line is now supplying a cheap Chinese one with
much play to the prongs and a trim to the front which is horrible for
staying on a lens.
