I've actually seen equivalents to this in local pawn shops.  The proprietors
have told me they're the 'promotional freebies' given in order to hook you
into subscriptions or other such things.  You really need to find one and
give it a good look see.  Unbelievable.  Most of the pawn shops I frequent
now have one sitting on the shelf just as an example to the employees of
what NOT to take in.

I suspect what it mostly is, is an attempt to cash in on a major name by
using a similar name on a POS product. Hence the 'improper' posting to the
Olympus section, instead of the General section.
