I'm not so sure, but I do found that when battery power is not enough and I
use the T32 on hot shoe, the shutter fire but actually was not open, when
the T32 was turned off, I got good exposure. This happen two times on my
OM4, one time when shooting a wedding, in a roll, half of the picture came
out totally dark, but the flash and shutter did fire, an extremely bad
experience that I will never forget. I had use manual 1/60s (not mechanical
speed) and normal flash mode.

The second time was happen doing macro insect shoot in TTL flash mode. It
always shown under no matter how close the distance was and what aperture I
had used, then I remember the wedding experience, I thought the shutter did
not really open. I changed the battery, everything then worked fine.
