My sadness is caused by seeing what was once a fine lens coming to
the end of its "life," not the realization that I won't be keeping this one.
(I *love* the 24/2.8 and I have a non-fungus-farm one that has a place of
honor in my camera bag.)
I she tears for your two "little rascals" too. If only fungus were brand-
selective and would focus its attention on all those N*k*n, P*nt*x, and
C*n*n wonderbrick lenses, and left the GOOD stuff alone!
