for some of you in the usa this might be of interest: ev1, privately owned
company, based in houston, tx is a pretty good isp. 10bucks/month
unlimited usage, one time setup fee of 30 or 40 dollars. the best part is
the 300mb (three hundred megs) of webspace. (alas, no cgi or those other
goodies like that. oddly, they appear to be partnered with nbc! for
content anyways. anyhow, if you're looking for decent isp (in SOME areas
of the USA only) they seem to do a good job. i've been using it about a
month now, and that's the only tie in, otherwise, no connections, etc.
