Chris O'Neill posted something that is confusing some folks. Ironically,
like me the Digest before, he also cited 17 records for prices on a
35-70mm f/3.6, as follows:

Of 17 records for the 35-70/3.6 four either had no reserve or met the
reserve. The prices for those four samples were as follows:
165.49
261.50
270.00
281.00
Not much of a sample size, so I wouldn't bet the farm on its accuracy,
but at least it gives you an idea.

To unconfuse folks, my 17 represented a population average of all 17
completed sales, for just 9+ cosmetic condition, over 3 years. And no, I
don't count uncompleted auctions (which it may have seemed), since one
has no idea what the buyer would have paid.
