I was at the Tacoma Dome watching the State Basketball Tournament. What a
weird experience that was. Felt like a troop of dump trucks were rumbling
across the roof. Games stopped, players looked confused, 15 minutes later
it was swish again. But for about an hour, everyone was waiting for the
next one and keeping an eye on exit. The Tacoma Dome is a large wooden
beamed dome and with the wood structure it can take a lot of swaying and
stay healthy.
Coming home late last night, northbound Interstate 5 was closed because of
damage to an overpass and traffic was backed up for miles. Luckily, I was
headed south.
