Dear All,

The Olympus OM cameras are sometimes derided as old-fashioned, compared
with Canon and Nikon. One of the reasons is that (with one exception)
they don't include autofocus. Older people, in particular, claim they
need autofocus because of failing eyesight.

On this subject, I was interested to read observations in an article at
the follwing URL:
http://www.smu.edu/~rmonagha/third/af.html
He has quite a lot to say about poor resolution resulting from
autofocus, even when the automatic focus is overridden in such cameras.
You might like to take a look.

Very interesting page and links. The LCD lifetime is scary. Has anyone lost the LCD in their OM4/4T yet?
