It would get you into the habit of changing viewpoint to get the framing
instead (often, though not always, a good thing), and it's smaller &
lighter & sits more easily on a tripod.  And it never suffers from zoom
creep.

Sounds like a combined flash/ambient meter with a spot attachment would
be a good idea, then. Not sure you'll get both for UKP150 though, unless
you find a second-hand one.
