If you have a look at some older rock music filmclips the backline of
Marshall, HiWatt or MusicMan amplifiers & speaker 'quad' boxes were
always branded...
over the last few years bands have been taping over the names with
black gaffer (duct) tape, whan asked why they usually say 'because we
don't get paid for the advertising'
