Hi Charles,

For the low light shots, I took them in program mode at ISO160, white
balance auto. I found that the auto white balance works very well at day
time. At night time, it will not totally correct the color temp. still leave
some warm tone that I prefer to keep the mood. I only own two DCs (another
one is C2000, no way to use at night time, pictures were terrible) so can't
say about others.

Concerning the shadow details, you can try to load the file and make some
adjustment on your photo editing software. The are there but I have moved
the black level a bit to make it look better at monitor (better contrast).
But even so, don't expect too much from the E-10, the shadow area have lots
of noise in original large file.

Yes, the E-10 has barrel distortion at wide end, but as the picture is
digital original, correction can be done with software. Camedia come with
the camera can correct it easily. The lens of E-10 is very strong from mid
to tele end and also at macro mode, but the corners are a bit soft at 35mm.
