You definitely need an HP (now Agilent) 3458A bench DMM.

Subject: [OM] Meter advice

Hi all,

I'm in angst over battery issues...for OM4, OM2, T32, Ring Flashes, Metz
etc. that has finally erupted in almost-sorta-ok batteries that aren't
really OK and now causing hangup and failed flash issues. Is it time for me
to own a volt meter so I can head these sorts of problems off at the pass,
and then if so, what would those of you who have tread before me recommend
as a purchase option? All I will ever do (famous last words) is test
batteries. I've never been able to test batteries or drain before, so this
might be fun in addition to solving some problems.

Thanks!

Chris Johns
