The lens I would go to would be either the Vivitar or the Phoenix 19-35.
Sharp, excellent contrast and designed to work with on OM right out of the
box.
Believe the 18-28 is an older design that isn't nearly as good as the 19-35.

I was leaning the 18-28 direction and 3 dealers steered me away from it and
to the 19-35.  I'm glad I did.
