OK, I now noticed that the lens comes with a filter, and there's dirt
in between the lens and the filter... Question, how do I remove the
 filter???

I tried unscrewing it, but it won't budge, and I don't want to force
it. Am I doing something wrong???

 Help!

Try lightly heating the edge of the filter with a hairdryer. It might
expand just enough for you to loosen it. This worked for me some time
ago and it might work for you now.

Sometimes a rubber band or a camera strap around the filter only will give enough grip to loosen it.
