I have been following a Tamrac camera bag over the past couple of months
that the same company has listed a number of times. Except for 1 instance,
the bag has sold for about $20.00 (+ S&H) over what the company is
normally selling it on their website! I wonder whether the company makes
them pay the eBay price or their regular website price? I also wonder
whether these types of eBay buyers are lazy, on some sort of mind-bending
hallucinogen or have lots of disposable cash. I have seen the same
phenomena on the CompactFlash (digital memory) side of Ebay, too. In any
event, I agree with Tom: Something about the bidding process gets people
quite excited.
