Yes indeed, but only if it's not coated with Teflon . . . unless you scrape
it off and polish the bowl. One could use a defunct aluminum [aluminium]
popcorn popper from the 1960's . . . they were quite popular as Christmas
and wedding presents for a couple of years . . . overtaken now by the "hot
air" devices.
