Yes - god knows what you'd use to get high contrast. Anything below grade 4
looks pretty flat. It is really good for portraits, but! I believe that
Ilford XP2 is better for home darkroom use, rather than the lab, because it
doesn't have that colour film style orange mask that seems to be the
culprit.
