The challenge is that this is all done from a service center in St. Louis.
I actually found the regulations on the web that detail why they can deny a
claim. No mention of ebay. No mention of cancelled checks. When I pointed
that out, their response was: "yes, we added this". Great job---make up the
rules as you go.
