I noticed that one of the US repair houses has 'paint sticks' in various
colours - just rub into the indentations and wipe away the excess - for
exactly this type of restoration. It may have been "Micro-tools"(?). Having
tried the above with my not so steady hand, the stick sounds far preferable.
