I mentioned to the list a couple of weeks ago the here-to-for unseen OM-4T
plus assorted lenses that appeared in my local paper's classifieds. Well,
after much wringing of hands and struggling to meet up with the seller, we
finally made the deal this passed Saturday. As it turns out, the equipment
consists of a pristine black OM-4T (he estimates that it's had maybe 20
rolls of film through it), a virtually new 28/2.8, ditto 85/2, slightly more
used 200/4, and now for the kicker... he showed up with a 35-70/3.5-4.5 and
a decent case for it all. I had originally planned on offering the gent a
little less than his asking, but when I saw the extras (zoom and case, plus
a couple of filters), I tried to get him to let it all go for his advertised
price. Wound up getting it for $100 over what he had initially been asking
for the body and the 28mm and 85mm. Am I allowed to gloat over this one????
The body, in particular, is spectacular.

I can now officially consider myself a zuikoholoic, as I've always had the
bodies, just skimpy in the zuiko lens department (a 50/1.4 that was on my
initial OM-1 purchased through the Air Force exchange in Japan 24 years
ago). Is this where my condition goes from chronic to epidemic proportions?

Grinning, albeit a little lighter in the billfold,
