  I have Zuiko 24/2.8s (both in SC & MC versions), 24/2, 28/2.8 & 28/3.5
as well as a 28/2 Kiron. The 24/2.8s have a slight edge on the 28/2.8
IMO, but not enough to worry about.

  The "extra stop" in inconsequential unless you need extreme DOF and
low sharpness. You're past the diffraction limit there.

   That depends on what you see and how you see it. Both are useful to
me.

  That's the best way to go. In spite of the minor difference in focal
length, look at it this way, the difference in angle of coverage
is quite noticeable.
