When doing the countdown of our bill, the boss of the rainforest lodge did this 
on a simple and tiny calculator wrapped up in a plastic bag. He smiled and 
pointed out that he was tired of replacing calculators after a few months as 
these simply stopped working, he had to protect it this way.

Looking at some professional and internationally acclaimed Swedish 
photographers and what thay have used in hot high humidity conditions in 
Borneo, Guyana, Pantanal, Costa Rica :

Pentax LX (sadly not in production anymore)
Pentax Z1p
Nikon F90x
Nikon F4 (before the days of F5)
Canon EOS1(n)

Note that all are electronic cameras (Pentax LX mechanical up to 1/75).
