I don't get it.  I can't imagine an OM model that's inherently "unsharp"
unless your particular example has been knocked around to the point
where either the viewing system or the film plane is out of whack.  I
can't tell which of my slides were taken with the OM-40 or my 2n, or for
that matter any other OM body.

For macro work, the OM-40/PC has the advantage of mirror/aperture
prefire.  Like others on this list, I don't really care for the feel of
the PC, but it has all the utility of a 2n, and in my case has been the
cheapest to own . . . never once in the shop.  When it goes, I'll junk
it.  But right now it's as "sharp" as any other.
