Jeff,
First of all, it is good to hear that the OM-4 works so well! Pretty camera
isn't it?!

I have to admit, I'm clueless about the 5250 mem position. I have a 5600
and there is no such label, none either on 3700 or 4600. Don't recall that
on a 600 Series 1 either. I've not purchased a 5200 because the head does
not swivel, only bounces.

I wonder if it isn't something like a standby switch. Is the adapter a PM
or DM series? I'm assuming PM.

Brian and everyone else,
I don't think I'll be able to get a picture of the flash. I'm not that
hi-tech yet, but it is a neat unit. It has an lcd display on it that lets
you pick the asa, f stop and then gives the range of the flash. For
someone like me it seems useful. I'm not sure why they mostly show up on
ebay for minolta because it is a generic flash with a dedicated module.
Do you have any other Vivitar flashes that have the mem setting on the
on/off switch.
Thanks for trying and I forgot to write you to tell you that the OM4
works perfectly! Thanks again.
