It also shows a copyright of whom I presume to be the photographer . . . so
it doesn't look as if they are any claiming ownership of rights to it . . .
when I hit the button to find out about getting it on a mug or t-shirt, it
comes up with a page about being a stock photo house and something about
making the request on behalf of the "viewer" or "browser."

My only question would be how the copyright owner knows whether or not the
image has actually been used?  But then how would any photog with images in
a stock agency know . . . unless they actually saw it in use?
