Chris,
Here's the deal. The Shoe 3 fits the OM-2. The Shoe 4 fits the OM-2n (and
the OM-1n). The big difference between a 2 and a 2n is the light in the
viewfinder for the flash. Your 2 doesn't have one. So, there is nothing to
light up in the viewfinder. That's what the extra pin on the Shoe 4 does.
If the T20 works on the bouncegrip 2, then it probably is the shoe, as with
a 2, you must be connecting to the camera with a TTL connector (a TTL
Connector 3, I suspect, as that is the one that fits your camera)
