| The Vivitar 17-28mm is almost certainly the Samyang-made 17-28mm, reportedly 
a very good lens for the money.  The Samyang has lots of fans, including 
discriminating pros and serious amateurs. 
Now there's a niche Olympus could fill, albeit with some compromises to be 
priced competitively.  Say, $200-300 street price.  Lots of demand these 
days for WA zooms.  (Wonder if Cosina is listening?)
