I had the exact same problem for several years. I finally got it fixed. I
think it was a clutch on the wind lever. Or it may not have been. Maybe it
was a lever worn or moved. But it was so simple I was ashamed for not
getting it fixed earlier. I live in Australia and got it fixed at Whilton
Camera Service in Elizabeth street Sydney. He is very good with Olympus.
