Hmmm. I asked my optician what diopter to use for my prescription and he
said, "-2".  So I bought -2 for my Nikons way back when.  Worked great.
Then I bought -2 diopters for my OM's and they also worked great.

I guess I recommend everybody buy -2 diopters. ;-)
