I'm an Oly and EOS user :-). Like you, my Oly is my "light" system.

It should click at least. Both my OM-1n and OM-4Ti aren't dead
stiff, but have very definite clicks.

I'll let the shift owners answer the above questions.

Zuiko 28mm F2.8, 50mm F1.4, and personally I *highly* recommend the
135mm F2.8 for *compact* telephoto.
