I'm not familiar with the OM-2S, but a quick check at Velewen's OM Body group
website: http://members.xoom.com/_XMCM/veluwen/om-sif/bodygroup/om2sp.htm had
the following information about your camera. I hope this helps.

control. Both shutter speed and aperture are selected by the OM-2sp. The
smallest aperture that can be selected is determined by the aperture setting
of the lens.
To enable all apertures the lens must be set at the smallest aperture.>>
