You're right on the current list prices of Zeiss vs. Zuiko prices. But
since we all know that the current Zuiko prices are inflated, I was acting
more on "market" prices for prime, used equipment. The Zeiss glass is more
expensive, in general.

The new price of Zuiko glass is also very expensive, although the used
one is much cheaper. On the other hand the Contax glass is not as what
I thought, the 50/1.4 is not as sharp as the Zuiko and also high
distortion at close distance. The 135/2.8 I once own is not better
than Zuiko 100/2. Don't expect the German version are better, my
friend had tried some German glasses in year 80, he said some German
version are even softer.
