I was wondering the same thing, since I bought his 8mm fisheye only 1 month
ago. His private message to me was that his bid was just a tracking bid to
see if his price to me was on-target vs. the market. I did add a case from
John H. for $42, as such a weird shaped lens benefits from some
protection. The only thing the Ebay lens had was the box, which is
definitely a hard-to-find item.
He's deep into the Contax system now.
