   Denton ,

I'm certainly not gonna base my opinion on just one fellows experience,but the strange thing is,I found this guy on a Nikon web site [below] of all places. I was pretty shocked.It was the first time I ever heard anything bad said against it. I'm sure there are a lot of happy photogs out there with the F5. By the way,the new Nikon N80 coming out soon was on the personal favorite wish list of mine. [multi spot metering I hear] After reading grumpys account of Nikons AF I began to wonder.

Based on my personal experience with two F5's, the above is a bunch of BS.
Furthermore, pros would have dumped the F5 en masse if what he writes was
true.
