Here's a tip. That 300/4.5 is a gorgeous portrait lens. I've been experimenting with longer teles for portraits lately and this one quickly floated to the top. Last thing I shot was a bunch of Civil War re-enacters and the color of their Union Blue and crispness of their faces against nice out of focus backgrounds blew me away.
