Barry,
Are you sure?  Open the battery compartment door.  There should be a metal
slide there.  Pulling on it should allow the adapter to release.
I have a 30DX (same as 433).  If it says OT-1D on the back, it should be
removable.  However, I have been known to be wrong...

I have since discovered that the OT-1D won't work with a 433D, as the
module isn't interchangeable.
