I got such a response from the list concerning my posting on the goodies at
Foto-Center, that I finally called them and just bought much of what they
had left.
So, to those of you asking for hoods (metal for 35/2.8,50/1.8,50/1.4), I
have 4 of them. 3 in boxes and 1 out-of-box, but virtually mint.
Price is $5.50 to cover my in-bound shipping and tax. If you want one, let
me know and I will ship to you. Figure shipping at $3.20 in US.
For those that wanted front and rear caps, sorry - the Cleveland area folks
picked those up as well as the 7mm extension tube(Tim Clark, I think).

I made a mistake on the diopters, Joel Wilcox informs me they are for the IS
series. Sorry.

I will respond first to active members of the list, lurkers will have to
take their place in line.

Also still available are one Shoe 4 ($10) (Joey, don't worry, I'm saving one
for you) and some odds and ends (35-105 hood, etc.).

ALSO, this week I came across a 28 2.8 in really nice shape. It is MC. I
just purchased a similar lens from a list member 2 weeks ago. It was
described as mint, this one rivals it in appearance. Someone else was
looking at it, so I bought it, just in case! I didn't think he was a member
of the list!! Price $90 + shipping and insurance.

Still available at Columbus Camera is the remaining 35/2.0 for $140.
Diaphragm ring is a little stiff, but diaphragm itself is fine and snappy.
Optics are in good shape. Columbus Camera also has a 28/2.8 with marked
front element for $50. looks to me as if it would work well except directly
into bright light- especially with the hood that comes with it. Contact me
if interested on any items, I will be in Columbus again next week.

Midwest Photo (also in Columbus) still has a 135 4.5 macro as well as a
65-116 tube. Both items are in excellent shape. Again, contact me if
interested, or if you have additional questions. Midwest also has a 28/3.5,
I haven't looked closely at it in a while. I'm sure price is quite
negotiable.

I broke down and bought the 100/2.8 at Midwest for $100, just couldn't pass
it up!

On a way different note, I am getting the hots for a Mamiya Cxx camera with
a 80, 105 or 135 lens. I cut my photo teeth on one of these (C3) and would
like to get back into 2 1/4. If anyone has a MS TLR for sale...
